Job Description

Adele Carr Financial Recruitment is a specialist accountancy recruiter for the North West/North Wales market.Urgent requirement for a Management Accountant to join a busy finance function. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Head of Finance coordinating the efforts of the team to ensure the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts and other required finance tasks.Management Reporting

  • Produce the monthly management accounts
  • Provide cover for management accounts of other Group companies
  • Produce the summary monthly pack for Board and Exec Team - including Income & Expenditure, Balance Sheet, Cash-flow Forecast and Commentary for Group entities under responsibility area
  • Produce a month end file for each Group entity with complete audit trail to Open Accounts and other external system.
  • Produce key balance sheet reconciliations at least quarterly
  • Provide cover for production of the quarterly VAT returns
  • Create quality business models for any required review of income or costs or to support bids or proposals
  • Assist with bids and contract submissions, and then create set up for new funding streams within the accounting system in line with submissions when won
  • Financial Management
  • Produce the Financial Statements pack - including Income & Expenditure, Balance Sheet, Cash-flow Forecast for Group entities under responsibility
  • Produce annual year end file ready for audit for own Group entities
  • Assist with supporting the business development team
  • Provide cover using the Proval development appraisal model when assessing development proposals
  • Provide cover using the BRIXX financial model to make adjustments to development plans, and budgets to see impact on the long term Business Plan
  • Provide cover for calculating rent, service and amenity charge increase calculations, reporting, validation and presentation of these
  • Person spec:
  • Experience working within a similar role
  • Charity accounts exp would be an advantage
