Job Description

Improvement Multi Trade Operative (Plumbing, Joinery or Plastering)Stoke-on-TrentCirca £32,000 + Excellent BenefitsOur client has a number of exciting opportunities for individuals with experience in Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery and Plastering.They believe that everyones home should be their castle, so youll be on hand to help bring their customers homes up to the very highest standards.Joining the team as a Multi Trader Operative, you will undertake a range of property maintenance, including (at least one of the following):Plumbing repairs

  • Leaks to domestic hot and cold-water plumbing systems including radiators and associated fittings
  • Install and repair sanitary fittings including WCs, baths, basins, and sinks including all fittings and taps
  • Install and repair PVCu and cast-iron rainwater goods and soil stacks
Carpentry & joinery repairs
  • All associated ironmongery, furniture and locking systems.
  • Erection of fencing and gates including posts and fixings.
  • Installing and repairing PVCu windows, doors, roofline & rainwater products including soffits, facias & gutters.
Completing plaster & render repairs
  • Completing internal solid plastering finishes.
  • Applying finishing plaster to background surfaces.
  • Installing direct bond dry lining.
  • Producing external solid render finishes.
  • Installing mechanically fixed plasterboard.
  • Laying sand and cement screeds to levels and falls.
Youll also have the required experience and technical knowledge to complete a range of planned domestic refurbishments to include bathroom and kitchen replacements and maintenance repairs including the following trades: Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery andPlastering.You must be qualified to NVQ2 level or equivalent recognised competency in a relevant subject (plumbing, joinery or plastering) and have the ability to plan and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines. It is essential that you have a full UK drivinglicence with a flexible approach to work.
