Job Description

ICT TechnicianWe are delighted to be recruiting for an ICT Technician for a rapidly growing multi academy education trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven candidate to join an existing team based in Kidsgrove, Staffordshire. Under the guidanceof the Senior Network Manager, you will be providing technician support across the Trust.Although mostly based in Kidsgrove candidates must be able to travel across the trust as necessary. Experience of working in an ICT environment is required, as is the ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and effectively to a diverse rangeof audiences. We are looking for self-motivated, highly organised, reliable individuals. You will have a dedicated work ethic working alongside teaching and support staff, supporting the full range of ICT systems.Main responsibilities of this ICT Technician role:

  • Provide support and guidance to staff and students on the use of the schools ICT systems
  • To support teaching and learning in the general running of the ICT rooms to ensure lessons are efficiently serviced
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware
  • Installation of software and hardware - A working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Office, Office 365, networking and hardware would be advantageous, but training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
