Job Description

Are you a proactive can do person with fantastic attention to detail and data input accuracy We have a great opportunity for a HR Officer to join our HR team!Using your experience of providing professional and transactional people support, youll play a key part in the HR Team, providing critical administration support in management information and reporting.Please note our Crewe Head Office will be relocating to Fenton, Stoke-On-Trent, ST4 2LT in September 2022, support will be offered in this transition and discussed at the interview stageYour main responsibilities:

  • Manage all people compliance checks including setting up new starters, processing leavers, changes, and exceptions through our HRIS and payroll system
  • Payroll processing, providing recruitment and onboarding support, producing employee contracts, offer letters and change letters
  • Providing professional, transactional people support, youll operate across a generalist remit providing end-to-end support across the employee life cycle
  • Ensuring all data is maintained in our system
  • Use of Microsoft applications to produce and manipulate data into key management information and people metrics for our end-to-end people reporting process
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in other areas of HR including supporting on People projects.
About You
  • Excellent administration skills with an eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service both in person and over the telephone
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • A proactive, can-do person, with the ability to role model a positive, team working culture
  • Excellent attention to detail whilst multitasking.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with all levels across the business
  • Driven to continuously improve ways of working
  • Resilient and adaptable to changing demands and tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently without continuous supervision
