People Operations AdvisorStaffordshire Permanent £23,000+ Per YearAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Peoples Operations Advisor to work within the HR Department for one of the UKs leading Facades companies. The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and advisory support to the business. Key Responsibilities:* Be a point of contact for all People Ops/HR-related queries* Provide advice to line managers on policies and procedures* Assist in the development of efficient procedures and departmental systems ensuring an effective, efficient and cost-effective HR service* Manage recruitment administration; placing adverts on websites, liaising with agencies, organising interviews and sending out invite to interviews letters/emails, issue offer letters/emails and regret letters/emails* Responsible for new starter process by preparing and producing contracts of employment, applying for references and administering DBS checks if relevant* Planning and conducting new starter inductions across the business * Process any changes to contract arrangements such as salary changes, promotions, change of address or end of probationary review letters* Create and maintain all employee files via the HR system * Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential* Monitoring and reporting on employee holidays, absence and other types of leave* Supporting with grievance and disciplinary issues in line with the company procedures* Booking of external employee training * Actively supporting internal employee training including managerial and mental health workshops* Actively supporting the creation of the employee engagement calendar and CSR efforts across the business Skills and Experience: * Strong ability to develop highly effective partnerships across all levels, applying influence without using formal authority to deliver results* Knowledge of employment law and general HR best practices* Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; success in advocating and getting necessary buy-in for programs.* High level of confidentiality* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage priorities between case work and projects.* Well-spoken, polite, pleasant, and confident manner* Ability to work on own initiative.* Excellent organisational skillsFor more information please call Sam on or email
