Job Description

About the RoleA fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our People Team on a 6-month fixed term basis. The role will be reporting directly to the Site People Advisor, from our state of the art distribution centre based in Trentham, supporting our shared service team.This role is initially office based but once you are fully up-to-speed there will be scope for home working.What youll be doingWorking within a team of 5, youll be responsible for carrying out administration duties relating to employee relations whilst ensuring local spreadsheets and people systems are kept up to date. You will produce accurate weekly and monthly reports, as wellas supporting the People Team or management team with ER issues, in particular with low level complexity absence, disciplinary and grievance issues including advice, minute taking, supporting meeting and writing relevant correspondence. Additionally to this,you will ensure accurate adherence to People procedures and policies within the organisation.About youIdeally, youll be currently working in a HR/People environment with some experience. Youll be a confident communicator with the ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders. Youll be proactive and have a solution driven approach, with a strongability to priorities your workload.CIPD Level 3 would be beneficial for this role.Sound knowledge of MS office packages is essential.Experience using Oracle/Kronos is advantageous.About us..We really value our people and offer a friendly working environment, a focus on developing your skills and a competitive salary.
