Howarth Morris has been appointed to recruit for a privately owned, facilities management company with significant UK operations. They maintain a strong order book with repeat clients across both private and public sectors.This is a business with a great reputation, an ambitious owner and exciting growth plans. They are now seeking a Head of Finance to support in the delivery of that business plan.Based in Stoke-on-Trent and reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will immediately become part of the Senior Leadership Team. With supervisory responsibility for a team of 3, you will have accountability for the financial and commercial strategyof the business. The successful candidate will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified with significant PQE, and be assertive, persuasive, positive and commercially astute.Your responsibilities will extend to:* Management of all finance activities including monthly management reporting, budgets and forecasts* Providing input and challenge to business strategy* Development, appraisal, and motivation of staff* Management of external relationships with all professional advisors* Participating fully in the management of the Company and to provide input, strategy, and commercial activities as appropriateExperience from within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or facilities management would be advantageous.
