Job Description

Berry Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an Education Chef Manager to work with our client based in Alton, Stoke On Trent.The pay rate is £17.20 per hourThe position is temporary and the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 2pm.Duties will include:

  • Preparing and cooking all meals for staff and students
  • Menu preparation including seasonal events
  • Organise kitchen staff with duties and rotas
  • Ensure budgets are managed and met
  • Ordering stock and ensure there are no delay in delivery
  • Stock taking and stock rotation
  • Ensure a high standard of hygiene at all times
The successful candidate will be passionate about food, ingredients and preparation, be happy to work in a team, ready to challenge themselves and a catering team to produce consistent and delicious food.Skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Minimum Food Hygiene Level 3 is required
As this position is in an educational establishment an advanced DBS certificate is requiredBenefits:
