Job Description

Global Sales Director - excellent base salary and equity opportunity!A truly exciting opportunity to join this niche online gifts retailer that is now backed by cash rich investors and looking to grow their already successful business thats nearly into its 20-year anniversary.Already successful across the UK & Europe and just starting to expand into the lucrative US market this online retailer has genuine exciting plans for growth, so confident of their product and proposition and ongoing success they are looking to recruit aGlobal Sales Director to maximise all the opportunities the products have on a global scale.The role will see you take ownership of the existing sales team and a further opportunity to recruit additional members of your team across Europe and the USA to maximise all sales opportunitiesThe business has a truly collegiate culture and its incredibly important to them that this is maintained, you will have a similar nature and understand that its a team effort across all departments that is truly the recipe for success.Based at the Head Office but with frequent travel across Europe and the USA you will ideally be well travelled and if you have a track record of success in the US online retail market this will be a huge bonus.About the role:

  • A basic salary up to £85k

Responsibilities:You will have overall responsibility for meeting global sales targets and growing revenue, incorporating the Global sales strategy development and implementation.Maintain gross margin within budgetary controls.Leadership, management, and accountability, including the management and motivation of the sales team.Customer acquisition, journey, feedback, and satisfaction including Customer product feedback and improvementKey account management & Trade fair execution including attending Far East trade fairs and making product selections.About you:A seasoned Global Sales Director with a demonstrable track record of success - ideally online retail experience - the current routes to market are all B2B - selling to retailers, distributors, bricks and mortar independents and multiples, e commerce, thirdparty marketplaces, tourist outlets & high street retailers so experience across all or most of these is highly desirable.Interested Dont delay please send your CV over in the first instance to kick start your application.
