We are looking for a General Office Assistant for our client to based in the Longton areaRoleChecking that orders have been entered on the system correctlyInput of customer delivery requirements on to the systemEntering of stock sheetsLiaising with different personnel to check when goods will be ready for production/despatchProducing of delivery notes for the various transport companiesProducing of order export invoices and documentsArrangement with the various transport companies to ensure that the customer delivery requirements are metAnswering the phonePostal dutiesGeneral filing and other officer dutiesExperienceProfessional telephone mannerKnowledge of despatch/shipping proceduresGood organisation and administration skillsGood communicationThis is a full time position of 37.5 hours working 8.30am - 5.00pm26 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
