Are you an experienced Accounting Professional with a background in industry looking for your next challenge We are recruiting for a General Accountant to work with a global organization who deal with major players in the electrical market providing on shore and off shore services and projects.This is a permanent role based in Tunstall, Stoke on Trent working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with a salary of £38-42,000 per annum dependent on experience. Benefits includes 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme and death in service benefit. As General Accountant you will be supporting the UK team with accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, payroll and invoicing. You will be in regular communication with an external agency regarding payroll and month end services. Otheradministration tasks will be involved such as booking travel and accommodation, answering incoming phones and liasing with all departments throughout the group. We are keen to hear from applicants with at least 5 years experience in accounting within industry, and a degree or equivalent such as CIMA or ACCA. Excellent Excel skills are required with previous experience in using an ERP system ideally although training can be provided. You will be detail oriented, possess good research and reporting skills, with the ability to problem solve and meet deadlines.
