Job Description

The Gingerbread CentreFundraiser (Ref: FR)We need a confident, experienced Fundraiser to raise essential funds to help the families we support at The Gingerbread Centre.The Gingerbread Centre has been providing help, support and accommodation to the homeless families of Stoke on Trent and the surrounding area since 1977. We have the capacity to accommodate up to 33 families at once in our supported accommodation; 11 families at Catherine Court and 22 families at Rothesay Court.The successful applicant will need to;

  • use all possible means and channels to drive fundraising growth for the charity, as a sole fundraiser, being involved in all aspects of fundraising activity.
  • lead and deliver on the charity’s ambitious fundraising targets, maintaining alignment with the fundraising performance requirements of the 3-year Strategy, and to increase and raise the profile of the Charity within Stoke on Trent and surrounding areas.
  • raise much needed funds and promote The Gingerbread Centre to the people and businesses in our local area to gain corporate and community donors.
  • Funding is needed to help us continue our valuable work providing support to homeless and vulnerable people, teenage parents and pregnant women in Stoke on Trent and the surrounding area.The ideal candidate will have experience and achievements in community fundraising, organising events, and developing relationships with local companies and corporate sponsors.Hours: 37 hours a week, with flexibility as evenings and weekends will be requiredSalary: £22,164.48 - £24,492.52, depending on experienceClosing date for applications: Monday 23rd March 2020Interview Date: 1st or 3rd April 2020CVs will not be accepted unless accompanied with a completed application form.
