Hold a recognised Teaching qualification; PTTLS, Cert Ed, PGCE, as well as your own Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 2, or GCSE equivalent.? Confidence and experience supporting SEMH learners? Ability to plan, teach, and assess English and Maths Functional Skills from Entry 3 up to Level 2 to students on a 1:1 and small group basis, identifying barriers to learning and strengths using initial assessment? A passion for developing the academic and social abilities of SEMH students? An effective communicator, with children, parents, and colleagues? Pastoral capabilities, including contributing to EHCPs?
