Job Description

We are currently recruiting an FLT Yard Operative for our Stoke-on-Trent based client.The role involves Counter Balance FLT Driving, within a heavy engineering Company

  • Counterbalance FLT driving
  • Loading and Unloading Flatbed Lorries
  • Moving palleted large engineering products around the production department and into the despatch area
  • Stocktaking engineering components in the warehouse
  • Issuing Stock to the shop floor
  • Adjusting stock on the computer for goods in and out
  • Assisting Engineers with ad hoc duties
  • General housekeeping duties i.e. keeping the work area and yard tidy
  • To adhere to all health and safety requirements
  • Physically demanding role
  • Previous experience required
  • In date FLT licence essential
  • Own transport Preferred
  • Temporary leading to Permanent for the right candidate
Hours of work are Days 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday and Nights 6pm - 3am Monday to Thursday on a 2-week rota.£12.10 per hour for early shift£14.63 for night shiftThis is a temporary to permanent contract for suitable candidates.Please contact us of forward your CV for further details.
