Job Description

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for 9 FLT Drivers to work in their leading facility in Stoke on TrentDue to a request from the hiring manager, you MUST have either previous experience on a VNA, Narrow Aisle or High-Level Order Picker truck.There are a number of shifts available with pay rates varying depending on the shift;

  • 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Monday to Friday
  • 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday & Sunday
    • These are temporary positions that will last up until Christmas.The company would prefer licenses refreshed within the last 3 years, but they will take people whose licenses are within 5 years, truck assessments will be held prior to people starting if successful.For the successful FLT Driver our client is offering:
    1. £9.27 per hour (1 license held - EXCLUDING COUNTERBALANCE)
    2. £9.82 per hour (2 licenses held - EXCLUDING COUNTERBALANCE)
    3. £10.36 per hour (3 licenses held - EXCLUDING COUNTERBALANCE)
    4. Temporary positions
    5. Overtime available
    6. Free parking
    7. Shift allowances apply for the afternoon and night shift
    The role - FLT Driver:
    1. Load and dispatch parts within the yard
    2. Unload/load HGVs when they are on site
    3. Liaising with the HGV drivers
    4. Picking orders from the designated areas with picking sheets
    5. Daily use of a forklift truck
    6. Following health & safety guidelines whilst on site
    7. Manual handling and manual work should the forklift trucks all be in use
    What our client is looking for in an FLT Driver:
    1. You MUST have previous experience on either a VNA or High-Level Order Picker
    2. Licenses can be within 5 years
    3. Previous experience in a similar role is ESSENTIAL
