Adecco are looking for an experienced FLT- counterbalance driver to work for our well established client located in the Fenton area. This is a temporary position to work in a distribution warehouse. The role would be for one month initially and then reviewed,possibly ongoing by a rolling one week need.Applicants must have a valid FLT counterbalance licence and ideally, will be used to splitting down pallets and handling packs. The work will consist mainly of fork lifting pallets on and off trailers/containers, positioning of pallets in warehouses andcustomer order preparation. This will include simple labelling of full pallets or preparation of smaller pallets with the necessary numbers of packs. Packs can range from 5kg to 25kg each so this may involve simple calculations. Candidates will need to bephysically fit as some manual handling is involved and use of a pallet wrapping machine.Full time working hours are Mon - Thurs 08:30 - 17:00 (one hour unpaid lunch) and Fri 08:30 - 16:30 (half hour unpaid lunch). Hourly rate of pay from £11.00ph. The successful person will be required to undergo a basic DBS check too.Key skills required-
