Job Description

Fire Risk Assessor £40,000 - £45,000 + BenefitsStoke-on-Trent, West Midlands (Remote Based)Our client, a sucessful and rapidly expanding Property Safety and Construction Consultancy based in London, is keen to employ an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to work on a range of residential and commercial contracts located across the West Midlands andNorth West regins.As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will:

  • Carry out site-based fire risk assessments on a range of small - large scale residential and commercial premises
  • Ensure buildings conform to the latest fire related building regulations and technical standards
  • Provide fire safety advice to clients
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of any changes in regulation and developments in fire safety
  • Authorise and sign off fire risk assessments
The successful Fire Risk Assessor will possess:
  • Fire safety qualification such as the NEBOSH Fire, FPA or CFPA diploma
  • IFE/IFSM membership
  • Minimum of 2 years solid experience conducting fire risk assessments across various market sectors
  • Full UK driving license with a flexible approach to travel
  • Good working knowledge of current fire safety legislation and technical standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office packages
