Our client is a fantastic business based in Stoke on Trent. They provide specialist services and have a brilliant reputation in the area. They are looking for a Finance Coordinator to join their small, friendly accounts team.As Finance Coordinator, youll be working in a wider business support team of 4. Youll be working in a varied role, including purchase ledger, processing bank transactions, accruals and prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations and will be responsiblefor:* Process supplier invoices, payments, statements and dealing with queries* Daily processing of bank transactions / investigation of queries* Answering accounts-related calls* Processing supplier payments / remittances* Processing weekly payroll and preparing payroll report for management* Monthly reconciliations (including balance sheet reconciliations)* Preparation of rebate invoices* Revalue foreign exchange for payables* Preparation of accruals and prepayments* Assist in the preparation of financial reports* Preparing PayPal reports and transfers* Preparing quarterly VAT submissions* Setting up supplier accounts* Journal postings* Assisting with year-end auditFor the Finance Coordinator, it would be good to see candidates with:* Previous experience in a similar accounts assistant role* Part AAT qualification would be desirable* Experience using Sage 50 Accounts & Payroll* Experience using Word, Excel and Outlook* The ability to work effectively in a small team* The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a range of people, both on the phone and face-to-face.Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pmSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annumBrampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
