Job Description

Finance AssistantLocation: Stoke, Stoke on TrentSalary: £22,105 per annumHours: 35 hours a week (9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday)Contract Type: PermanentClosing date: Monday 08 March 2021Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant with sales ledger and credit control experience to join their Finance team. You’ll be supporting the team with invoices, management reporting, processing rent and any other ad-hoc tasks. You’ll also be working with people across the Group, helping them with finance enquiries.Job requirements:

  • Raising invoices and maintaining the sales ledger
  • Helping the team with management reporting
  • Processing rent and other bank payments
  • Reporting on daily cashflows
  • Fixed asset recognition and reconciliation
  • Processing insurance claims
  • Assisting with day-to-day tasks of the Finance team
  • Working with people from across the Group and helping with Finance enquiries
    • Our client is looking for:
  • Someone with an AAT qualification or equivalent
  • Understanding of raising invoices, sales ledgers and credit control
  • Basic understanding of fixed assets, insurance, management reporting, audit trails and VAT would be useful
  • Great IT and excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and being a team player is essential too
