Job Title: Field Service EngineerJob Type: PermanentLocation: Stoke-on-Trent, West Midlands (Travelling throughout the Midlands and some parts Cheshire)Salary: up to £38K DOE, company car, phone, laptop etc. Plenty of overtime available.Industry: Medical DevicesPremier Engineering has engaged with a key client and a world leading supplier of Medical Equipment & Machinery. Due to team growth, a new opportunity has become available for a Field Service Engineer to join on a permanent basis.The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the commissioning, validation, preventative maintenance and repair of our range of technologically innovative infection control and prevention products, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintainedat all times Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance Perform scheduled validation testing Perform installation and commissioning activities Perform in field technical corrective actions Complete required company documentation, including detailed test procedures, as required Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction Maintaining daily communications with Customer Service Department to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction Work within the process of QMS System Provide support to sales and marketing departments when requiredRole/Qualification requirements: Minimum of HNC or equivalent in technical subject is essential i.e electronic / electrical / mechanical Previous relevant experience within a field service role, typically gained over two years or more, diagnosing and repairing electromechanical equipment. Applications from ex forces engineers are encouraged Able to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long standing customer relationships Ability to organise and prioritise to achieve wide range of time critical activities Be reliable, honest & trustworthy and act as an ambassador for the company at all times Team oriented Good communication skills IT competent (Essential) Full driving licenseDesired Characteristics: Hydraulic/pneumatic experience Proven experience of maintaining high value capital equipment within medical, scientific or laboratory environment Achieved CP status within decontamination/sterilisation (HTM0106 or HTM2030)Sound interesting Please contact Daniel Warby at Premier Engineering for further information and apply!
