Job Description

Coffee Machine Field Service EngineerStaffordshire£28,500 - £30,000 per annumWe are a Midlands based coffee machine service provider for the UK.With a team of skilled engineers based strategically around the UK we provide service for a varied spectrum of customers.We are also the sole UK repair agents for some prestigious and well known coffee machine manufacturers.Due to increased workloads we are currently looking for an additional, skilled and experienced field based Coffee Machine Service Engineer to join our existing team to cover the North Midlands including Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire and surroundingcounties.Job DescriptionAttending customers premises to perform servicing and repairing of Traditional Espresso coffee machines and of high end domestic coffee machines. Installation and commissioning, Coffee Safe pressure testing and boiler inspections.Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within the industry, servicing and repairing espresso based coffee machinesand/or high end domestic coffee machines.
  • Self motivated and well organised in any paperwork and management of van stock
  • A fast learner (Brand specific training will be provided)
  • Articulate, energetic and a "people person" willing to spend time to discuss best use of machinery with our more discerning customers.
  • Good knowledge of espresso based coffee and coffee beverages
  • Electrical and some electronic knowledge to be able to identify when a component has failed
  • Valid driving license
  • Coffee Safe trained would be a distinct advantage
One Saturday in every 4 is is required which will be paid at time and half in addition to salary.Based on an 8.30 to 5pm day but start/finishing can hours may vary.Overtime opportunities are available when fully proficient with the equipment.23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.Tools/mobile phone and a small high spec van provided.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £28,500 - £30,000 per year plus overtimeCOVID-19 considerations:All customers are vetted for Covid compliance and PPE is provided for our staff.
