North West EnglandNew Field Service Engineer vacancy - a great opportunity to join a specialist company that services & maintains laboratory equipment for hospitals, pharmaceutical and research laboratories.Products include: centrifuges, incubators, balances, fridges, freezers, autoclaves, microscopes, washers, humidity cabinetsThe region predominately is North-West England/Midlands. National travel will be required (overtime is paid)Role:- Carry out day to day technical activities concerning laboratory equipment servicing and calibration at customer sites.- Maintenance, calibration, fault finding and repair of laboratory equipment.- Provide customer technical support where required.- Ensure excellent quality customer service, communication and delivery.- Ensure up to date knowledge of current working regulations.Person Specification:HNC or equivalent in Electrical qualifications.Skilled in practical fault finding and repair, ideally on laboratory equipment or similar productsElectrically competent. (240Vac)Ideally competent with instrumentation calibrations such as pressure, temperature, flow, conductivity etc.Customer focused in approachGood communication and interpersonal skills, flexible and open-minded to new initiatives.PC literate on Microsoft Office applications.Ability to manage and plan own workload and complete all paperwork accuratelyUKAS accredited training will be given for various equipment.
