A leading manufacturer and provider of Imaging equipment now requires a Field Sales Engineer for their Thermal Imaging equipment.Working from your home office, this is a field-based sales role, where you will cover the whole of the UK. Therefore, you must be willing and able to travel regularly and stay away from home.You will be responsible for managing existing customers and establishing new customer relations with the aim of increasing sales opportunities.Working closely with the Sales Manager and suppliers on projects to meet customers specific needs and to turn these needs into sales opportunities and subsequent revenue.Working with engineers, project management and buyers you will specify products to meet customer requirements and win new business.Working closely with the internal sales, central purchasing, marcoms and accounts teams you will maximise business opportunities and meet customer expectations.You will agree and review with Management the target accounts and annual plans for achievement of agreed objectives.You will also be expected to attend Exhibitions, conferences, customer events and participate in Company sales meetings and internal and external training courses.As Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of sales, from identifying targets, building new relations, demonstrating products, and agreeing the sale. Managing your own diary and ensuring all information is correctly input to the relevantdatabases and management reporting.Qualifications:Although not essential, preference will be given to candidates who have a Degree or equivalent in Opto-electronics, Photonics, Physics or similar.Experience:A proven track record in sales, with excellent communication skills is required.As the successful candidate you must be familiar with the OEM Camera market, Imaging and Thermal Imaging.Additional Information:Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK.
