Job Description

We are committed to achieving high standards of quality in all that we do.Position: Family PractitionerLocation: Stoke-on-TrentType: PermanentHours: 37.5 Hours Per Week, Monday to FridaySalary: £22,000 per annumClosing date for applications: 10th May, 2021Interview Date: TBCAbout the role:The Family Practitioner is responsible for delivering family and relationship-based interventions on both a 1-2-1 and groupwork basis in Activity Hubs (under the CFO contract) working with people on licence post-release from prison or on community orders. The Family Practitioner is responsible for working towards service delivery targets and providing information to evidence delivery across the 3 Activity Hubs.About you:We’re looking to appoint someone with experience of supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs to overcome barriers, and therefore have an appreciation of safeguarding, personal safety and professional boundaries. Ideally you will also have interagency work experience (building partnerships, promoting positive relationships between different agencies, and developing new approaches to service delivery).You will also be comfortable delivering support on a 1-2-1 basis in the community. You will be a self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritise your own work.The successful candidate will have excellent listening skills, the ability to develop relationships with staff, clients, volunteers, and other stakeholders, proven experience of achieving qualitative and quantitative targets, and an understanding of the criminal justice system.Finally, you will understand the importance of tracking your activities, as the success of the service will be dependent on you delivering the contracted support time and interventions for the benefit of service users, prepare reports for senior management and participate in contract meetings .Must have good IT skills, experience of managing and delivering casework across diverse demographics and complex needs in challenging environments.What we offer:Pact offers a range of benefits including a free advice, information and counselling service, contributory pension, corporate eye care scheme, cycle to work scheme and generous holiday entitlement.
