Job Description

European Import OperatorSalary: up to £30000 PA DOEWorking hours: 8am - 4.30pm/ 8.30AM - 5pm/ 9am - 5.30pm Mon to FriCandidate Requirements:

  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Ability to lone work, unsupervised and part of a team
  • Knowledge of imports and transport operations
  • Experience of planning loads
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a European Import Operator to join one of our dynamic and progressive clients in the ST4 area, Stoke on Trent. The successful candidate will be providing a valuable service within the operations department, organisingthe safe, efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods. Duties include:
  • Develop key service relationships with Customers and Overseas agents and Suppliers
  • Ability to plan a European Groupage Trailer
  • Comply with EU and UK regulations and requirements regarding export/ import docs
  • Provide complete manifests or delivery notes for use by transport and warehouse staff
  • Providing customer quotes on a daily basis
