Electrical Maintenance EngineerStoke-on-Trent£38,000k -£52,000kDays/Noons Shifts with call out rota In this position you will be working for a globally established and renowned manufacturer who have been providing outstanding products and service to their loyal customer-base for over 30 years and continue to thrive and deliver. With a number of recognisablebrands within the organisation and a long-standing team of employees, this employee is one of the most desirable within the local area.Role:As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and will carry out planned and preventative maintenance tasks either alone or as part of a team. By adhering to health and safety and following correct procedures, all work willbe carried out in a safe manner, and ultimately ensuring all breakdowns are kept to a minimum.In this role you will be required to:* Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of production machinery* Attend breakdowns, carry out installations, fault finding and repair, and planned maintenance.* Maintenance work will be carried out on a variety of machinery including air handling units, extruders, kilns, filter presses, de-humidifiers, cup and flat making machines, pumps, and dryers.* All work completed will be logged on in-house system.Requirements:The person needs to have:* Preferably 18th Edition City and Guilds Electrical Qualification, must be have at least 17th Edition and above. * GCSEs (or equivalent) Including Maths, English and ICT. * Previous experience of mechanical factory maintenance (as described above)* Would benefit from previous knowledge of inverter drives and PLC diagnostics.* Counterbalance 7 FLT Licence/experience desirable as well as MEWP.* Understanding and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, gearboxes, robotics, pumps would be desirable.Further Information:As well as working for a globally recognised, established manufacturing company, with an excellent management and leadership teams you can expect:* Free onsite parking* Employee Assistance Programmes* Excellent pension scheme and free pension advise* Enhanced holiday allowance* Employee discounts* Excellent career progression opportunities and further development across departmentsThis is an incredible opportunity for anyone looking to develop their career.
