Are you and experienced Design & Technology Technician currently looking for a new role Aspire People are looking for an experienced individual who possesses effective communication skills and can support the delivery of practical lessons in Design Technology and Art within schools. The role is to start as soon as possible and is on a temporarybasis. This is a temp-perm opportunity. ** Design Technology Technician - Design Technology technician jobs in Derbyshire** Well respected school with traditional values and high expectations ** Immediate interview and starts You will be responsible for supporting the Design technology department in setting up equipment and practical lessons. Workshop skills will be an advantage but not essential. We are looking for a hardworking and conscientious team player to join their Design Technology team and support teaching across the department. The successful candidate will set up practical classroom teaching, work with individual students and small groups,and prepare and maintain workshops involving woodwork and metal work machines and equipment. This post would particularly suit someone who has recent experience of working in a similar role, expertise in setting up machines and using tools, or qualifications in joinery, metal work or other material-related trades. Knowledge and experience of CAD/CAMequipment would also be desirable. I am keen to speak to experienced DT Technicians who are interested in working in this forward thinking school.
