With theclear progression opportunities and exclusive benefits, you wont have to think twice about joining this amazing team as a Development Manager.Their systems are utilising low latency push delivery services providing real-time data to hundreds of thousands of users across the world.Who Theyre looking for:The type of experience theyre after includes any regulatory knowledge, ideally, particularly working with 3rd party regulators, as youll spend a lot of time speaking to compliance departments to shape requirements.You will have line management responsibility of this technical function with full responsibility for the teams output, their development and meeting the Businesss regulatory objectives.

  • Knowledge and experience implementing software development methodologies and techniques such as Waterfall and Agile including Kanban, Scrum, XP, LEAN and Crystal
  • Experience in managing development team leads and senior people, from any development background
  • Experience implementing appropriate processes, procedures, documentation and software engineering practices to realise early delivery of high-quality working software
  • Preferably experience of working within a regulatory framework and an appreciation of the significance and sensitivities this involves
Its a very fast-paced environment with lots of change, so you need to be comfortable thriving in this kind of environment!Key responsibilities:
  • Overseeing and developing the smooth operation of the MIS function
  • providing reporting systems to communicate Business information back to internal stakeholders and external bodies
  • Delivering green field projects and functional changes on time according to externally set timelines
  • Ongoing maintenance of a varied and growing technical estate
  • Provide the host of APIs which regulators can access information through. Its very important information as regulators can shut down licences, so its essential the information is accurate
  • Taking responsibility of stakeholder management including compliance, accounts, tax, change, InfoSec, infrastructure, software development, project management, 3rd parties and senior management
  • Understanding all planned and in-flight projects to a competent technical level in order to provide detailed, regular progress updates to senior management
