Job Description

Job SpecificationPurpose:Work with Sales and Operations to expedite the demand plan in line with our stock holding policy to deliver cost effective and efficient customer fulfilment performance.Key Accountabilities:

  • Forecast
  • Work alongside Sales to develop and manage forecasting processes which deliver reliable and transparent forecasts that can be used to drive the business towards its targets.
  • Work alongside Category to ensure new products are accurately reflected in forecasts.
  • Where appropriate help Project Manage new Commercial Opportunities into the business.
  • Demand Planning
  • Work alongside Sales and Supply Chain to develop and Document the Demand Planning process to effectively meet the current needs, and adjust as appropriate to accommodate future opportunities.
  • Work alongside Sales, Order Desk and Operations to manage the demand plan in line with our stock holding policy and customer fulfilment policy.
  • Stock Value Management
  • Agree, manage and report stock in line with value policy.
  • Project Manage the disposal of Slow /Obsolete SKUs.
Person Specification
  • Has forecasting and demand planning experience in Manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with our industry is a plus.
  • Able to prioritise multiple tasks and demands in line with business objectives.
  • Good presentation skills- will need to be able to extract the key issues from the available data and report it to senior managers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Competent using a range of Microsoft software packages
  • Flexible in respect of the demands of the job
