Job Description

Excellent remote/hybrid opportunity to work with a Stoke-on-Trent based tech company thats involved in building complex data management and software products for leading companies around the world!Data Insight Analysts provide a deep-dive service into datasetsto support various teams such as Sales, Service Consultancy and Product Management.Its all about the numbers and how you visualise things. Sometimes the output is a spreadsheet, other times its an infographic or a presentation.What will you doWorking with both internal and external clients to;

  • Provide high quality data analysis and reporting back using an appropriate presentation format
  • Build prototypes directly targeted to prospective clients
  • Research and develop new techniques for improving output quality and process efficiency
  • Provide regular screening process for existing clients
You will have the opportunity to directly shape our products and services by presenting your ideas with a solid business case and then engaging with the relevant people to deliver them. So good communication skills are essential for working with people atvarying levels of technical knowledge and authority around the business.About YouYou will be a curious, innovative and creative character always looking for new ways to visually represent data, assess risk and inform decisions.You will be comfortable using multiple tools to drill down into data. You will understand data quality issues and know how to address them.Knowledge of data processing, transformation and enrichment will be a big advantage as would any experience of the following;
  • Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAP Business Objects
  • T-SQL, Python, C#
