Job Description

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join them in Tunstall, on a temporary basis covering maternity leave. The role will be working within a call centre environment, providing a proactive telephone service for customers. The ideal candidatewill be PC literate, possess an excellent telephone manner and strong keyboard skills.Main Duties:

  • Answering the telephone to a variety of people and either being able to deal with their enquiry or direct them to the relevant department.
  • Processing and resolving claims for debit notes.
  • Raising goods returns notes, liaising with 3rd party transport and chasing the collection and return of goods.
  • Some spreadsheet, word processing and order input work.
  • Proactive telephone marketing / telesales with customers.
  • Information gathering and distribution from contract-based enquiries into the call centre.
Skills / Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • PC literate and strong keyboard skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and a passion for customer service
Hours of Work:
  • 37 hours per week
  • 9am - 5.30 or 8.30am - 5pm
