Our public sector client is looking for a temporary worker to join their team as a court usher. This role is currently temporary ongoing. There is a very good chance this role will be extended. This is a full time role, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.You will usually work 8-4/9-5. The pay rate for this role is £10.32 per hour, paid on a weekly basis.This role is based at Stoke on Trent Combined Courts but you may be required to work at North Staffordshire Justice Centre. As a court usher you will be the first point of contact for court users. You will be required to give them excellent customer service. Your duties will include:- Meeting and greeting court users- Giving directions to court rooms- Assisting with the set up of hearing rooms- Ensuring court hearings are running smoothly- Using in house data bases- Data entryThe ideal candidate for this role will have strong customer service skills, you will be dealing with people from all walks of life.The successful candidate for this role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check (free of charge) due to the nature of this role.
