Job Description

A great opportunity to work in care helping people in their own homes in the Stoke on Trent area. My client is a well established home care provider that covers in and around the Stoke on Trent area. They pride themselves on always providing the best possible care to the elderly in their own home but they can only do that with the top quality staff they have that are every day on the front line of care. They are getting more and more people wanting support every day and so are expanding....Due to expansion they are looking for 3x Community Support Workers, you will be:-

  • Providing elderly people with emotional and functional care in their own homes
  • Working either full time or part time - additional hours are available
  • Supporting them with medication, assistance with personal care, helping to with feeding them at meal times, and some social activities so they don’t get bored
  • Working between the hours of 7am till 10pm depending on your shift pattern and working every other weekend - working 3-4 days every 7 days
    • Qualifications/Experience/Requirements
  • You would need to able to pass a DBS check or have a valid DBS check
  • Living in or around the Tunstall or Stoke on Trent or Biddulph in Staffordshire
  • You need to have a full UK driving licence and also a road worthy vehicle
  • Ideally having experience working as a carer in some capacity would be great - domiciliary care, live in care, care home support etc or even experience looking after an elderly relatively would be great
  • They would also consider people that are new to a carer position as they can provide full training and support
