Job Description

Community Safe and Well Support WorkerStoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire21 hours per week on averagePermanent£19,080 per annumOur client is looking for a Community Safe and Well Coach to complete safe and well checks with customers. Youll find the best solution to problems and put them in place.Job requirements

  • Visit customers in the community to complete safe and well checks. Customer safety must be at the heart of everything you do, so youll need to deal with any issues and put solutions in place.
  • Maintain customer focused safety and risk management plans.
  • Answer the on-call out-of-hours phone and respond to any issues or emergencies in the community, supporting both female and male customers.
  • Make sure all accommodation is secure and work with staff to make sure all health and safety standards are met.
  • Assess any evident risk or safeguarding issues
  • Make sure that customers feel welcome when they first move in and are fully aware of the support they can access, as well as their responsibilities within the accommodation.
  • Support the Team Leader to meet void targets by turning around rooms ready for relet.
What theyre looking for
  • Good standard of education with a GCSE in English and maths or equivalent.
  • Experience of risk assessing and supporting people with complex needs.
  • A genuine understanding of people in abusive relationships and a passion to support them in a non-judgemental way.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle for work purposes.
  • DBS check every three years.
