The Levelling Up Programme is a complex public-privatepartnership with multiple investors and will require a higher degree of commercial acumen and the ability to work across organisational boundaries. Please contact Joe Glendon on to discuss this role in moredetail.ProfileThe successful Commercial Manager would ideally have the following skills and experience:Be qualified to degree level in a commercial discipline (e.g. Surveying/Finance/Legal/Procurement) and also hold a post graduate qualification or membership of a professional body such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Institute of CommercialManagement or similar.You will need to have an excellent understanding of public and private sector commercial development, and the contracts that are associated with construction and, development matters. Having a strong understanding of how these contracts function and howthey are procured is central to the role.Substantial post-graduate experience in a similar role with a demonstrative track record of achievementA significant track record of effective contract management and being commercially astuteDemonstrable track record of successfully leading large complex cross cutting corporate priorities through to deliveryApplications are welcomed from candidates in either the public or private sector and this could be an ideal opportunity in particular for an experienced Commercial Manager currently in the private sector but considering a switch to the public sector.Job OfferThis is a permanent position with a salary of £47,665 to £50,740 on offer.
