Do you have good administration skills with experience of reading drawing dimensions Due to company growth we are recruiting for a Commercial Assistant to join this engineering company in Stoke on Trent.This is a permanent role with a salary of £20-23k per annum plus 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and free parking. You will be working Monday to Thursday 8.15am-5pmand on Fridays finish at 3pm! As Commercial Assistant you will be working in a busy commercial office team of 7 supporting the manufacturing arm of the business with all aspects of administration.This will include initiating, processing and monitoring RFQs utilizing estimation management system, interpreting technical drawings, customer specifications, material and finish requirements and evaluating submitted RFQs making recommendations based on commercialand technical factors.You will be the point of contact between suppliers, manufacturing and other internal departments as well as customers as well as producing reports and statistics for management review. Other duties will include post, answering incoming calls and meet and greetany visitors to site.We are keen to hear from applicants with previous administration experience from an engineering or manufacturing environment with the ability to read and understand basic dimensions on a drawing. Good IT skills are requiredand any experience of using CRM or ERP systems would be advantageous.
