Job Description

CNC SetterPertemps Stoke are currently recruiting for a CNC Setter for our client based in Longton, ST3.Main duties of the CNC Setter:

  • Produce precision detailed, high-quality parts to drawing specifications including the set up and use of CNC Press Brakes
  • Fully understand and interpret engineering drawings working in metric units
  • Select correct programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
  • Identify material types needed and check the raw material stock level
  • Inspecting the product to ensure a high standard
  • To report any faults to the relevant person
Skills required for this CNC Setter role:
  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Ability to communicate in all levels
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good hand dexterity
