Job Description

We are an expanding care business supporting elderly clients and adults with learning disabilities in their own home across Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke on Trent. We are seeking a new Coordinator to join our team who will oversee the scheduling of communitysupport and compliance.Care Coordinator£29,000 - £30,000 Per AnnumMust Have Own CarMust Be Local To Stoke on Trent or Newcastle Under Lyme8 Month Contract To Cover Maternity Leave - with Full Time OptionPlease Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKSuccessful candidates will be excellent schedulers that have a deep understanding of delivering good quality care. In doing so they will track continuity of care and have call time tolerances at the front of their mind. We are also looking for a strong multi-taskerand a highly organised individual!The JobThe successful applicants will have experience in the following:

  • Excellent scheduling/rostering skills
  • Supporting the Registered Manager in recruitment drives and interviews
  • Staff and Service User compliance checks
  • Supervisions and appraisals
  • Dealing with complaints
  • Sharing the on-call
  • Delivering care when needed
  • Attending professional meetings and being a fantastic ambassador for the company!

If you have the following, then we want to hear from you today:
  • 12 months or more experience in a similar role
  • 3 years experience within the Care Sector
  • Experience with PeoplePlanner
  • Computer Literate particularly with Microsoft Software
  • Access to own transport and hold a full driving license
We Are Looking For:
  • The ability to build positive professional relationships with Service Users and colleagues in a team
  • Someone who offers has attention to detail
  • Good judgement and a sense of responsibility with limited supervision
  • Experience of working with people with mental health conditions or learning disabilities would be valuable but not essential for the role
  • Must be a car driver
