Job Description

Our client is looking for an applications engineer to provide technical support to the business. This is a new and exciting role, you will be working on a portfolio of both internal and third party applications.You will play a key role in supporting the tools they utilise and their users, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting through resolution. You will also be responsible for implementing and integrating the internal suite of applications which formpart of the ERP.This is a Hybrid role.Experience:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for our internal teams with Business Systems related issues while assisting with the support, maintenance and deployment of these systems.
  • Taking responsibility for the platform on which the tools and applications are served including on premise, SaaS and cloud-based solutions.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure timely resolution of cases and ensuring that our customers andstakeholders are kept informed of progress.
Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations.
  • Experience of implementing, supporting and upgrading business related systems and applications while havingan understanding of their architecture.
  • Strong stakeholder management with people from different disciplines.
  • Managing the life cycle of products.
