  • Leading the audit team within a thriving firm of accountants.
  • Working in support of the Partners, managing the audit function.
  • Overseeing the planning and completion of audit for the firms varied client portfolio.
  • Working closely with other internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Overseeing and reviewing the work of others, ensuring client expectations and deadlines are being met.
  • Providing mentorship and training for junior members of staff, adopting a constructive and supportive approach to professional development.
  • Representing the company at networking and business events, confidently scoping new business opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to new and existing clients.
  • Set an example to the team as a natural leader.

The successful candidate
  • FCCA, ACA, or ACCA qualified.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading an Audit team.
  • Technically proficient with close attention to detail.

  • Demonstrable experience in winning and developing new and established clients.
  • Practicing certificate would be advantageous.
