Area Sales Manager - FoodserviceSalary: Basic £30,000 plus commission £38k OTE plus company Car and benefitsArea: Derby, Stoke- On- Trent, Matlock, Chesterfield, Macclesfield, Buxton, Crewe, Stafford, Sheffield.The Opportunity:This is a great sales opportunity to work with a reputable and established group of companies in this the specialist foodservice arm of the group. The business is focusedon providing foodservice solutions to pubs, hotels, restaurants, cafes, education, and the fast-food takeaway environment. The business has substantial support and is looking to grow, so the opportunity exists to add your sales experience and best practicesto the team and have a voice in the way the team is shaped, the first people in will always get the first opportunities.The Role:Existing accounts will be in your region to be nurtured and developed but as the business is looking to further promote their foodservice offering and push sales in this side of the business, the role will require business development and growth in thisregion. You will be used to making your own appointments and educating prospects on what this business can offer as a regional supplier. Some leads and appointments will be supplied from telesales.The Candidate:We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable foodservice sales professional from within the Midlands region that is used to selling on behalf of a wholesaler to the HORECA sector. This role would suit a character that is willing to work with an ever-evolvingand growing business, this comes with challenges but also opportunities. You must be passionate about what you do and the foodservice sector. You may be a foodservice sales professional or form within janitorial supplies, alcoholic drinks, non-food consumables,catering supplies, etcCandidates that have worked in the drinks and brewery sector selling to on-trade, or field marketing professionals that have sold into hospitality, or a passionate telesales professional looking to get a break and move into field sales will also be considered!
