KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The Technical Applications Training & Support Technician - IT Software / Hardware role will include the following tasks: -Undertake operator machine and tool training at basic and advanced levels. Deliver operator software application training on all bespoke software products supported by us. Build and maintain expert knowledge of all software applications and relevance to specific market sectors. Support clients on their projects with relation to software applications. Work with and support Sales Team on product demonstrations to achieve their sales targets. Support senior management with expertise to increase market share. Work with colleagues in the Service Team to address and respond to customer queries and requests for support. Offer software support to Sales and Service teams as required. Help to disseminate knowledge across the service team. Develop training aids and documentation as appropriate to fulfil major role of trainer.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Technical Applications Training & Support Technician - IT Software / HardwareYou will have the following characteristics & experiences:Strong, rounded knowledge of personal computers (Mac & Windows), coupled with ability to discuss with customers technical IT contact(s). Basic networking knowledge, to advise on how to efficiently integrate software solutions into customer environments. Comfortable with PC hardware and configurations: hardware insertion; changes. Background in CAD and understanding of coordinate systems, drawing principles and possibilities. Knowledge of typical technical industry standard tools, for example: Adobe Creative Suite; ArtiosCAD; Impact; Workflows. Customer service background: Can put self in position of client to understand pain points. Manage delicate situations diplomatically Willingness to travel and meet customers across the UK.
