Job Description

As a Deputy Manager within the Anti Money Laundering Audit team, you will oversee a team of auditors ensuring that our operations are in-line with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism (AML/CTF) policies.Reporting into and supporting the daily duties of the AML Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of auditors who perform critical audits and assessments of our AML/CTF controls.You will be highly motivated, with excellent attention to detail and experience of team management. The day-to-day work will be varied, therefore is essential that you are able to manage a number of different tasks simultaneously.Successful applicants will be working in our offices in Stoke-on-Trent and will need to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.We offer a competitive salary, generous bonus scheme, long service recognition and a wide range of other benefits.Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise a wide range of tasks to ensure the department is meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Ability to create formal documentation and reporting for an executive management audience.
  • Strong attention to detail and thorough approach to work.
  • Experience in quality assurance, coaching and development.
  • Good knowledge of the regulatory environment, AML/CTF, Sanctions and the online gambling sector is beneficial although training will be provided.
Main Responsibilities
  • Assisting to maintain an appropriate and effective AML/CTF audit programme for around 20 jurisdictions.
  • Providing coaching and development to a team of auditors.
  • Supervising regular testing of key AML/CTF controls.
  • Escalating audit issues to senior management and assisting with developing solutions.
  • Supporting the Business in all external AML/CTF audits globally.
  • Deputising for management when required.
