Our client is a highly successful manufacturing business based in Stoke on Trent. They have a great opportunity for an Accounts Manager to join an established team.Youll have experience supervising an accounts team, a relaxed and friendly demeanour and lots of great accounting knowledge. Youll be joining a long-standing team, so they dont need much guidance or support as they are very self-sufficient, but you willbe the anchor who is the go-to person for matters such as holidays, absences and training.Duties for the Accounts Manager role will include:* Provide support and management to the Accounts Team* Bank reconciliations (Sterling and foreign currencies)* Maintain fixed asset registers* Management and reconciliation of petty cash and foreign currencies* Completion of month-end procedures in a timely manner* Sales and purchase ledger processing* General banking functions* Payroll and petty cash* Journal postings* Credit card accrualsFor the Accounts Manager role, it would be good to see candidates with:* General experience working in an accounts/finance office environment* Supervisory experience* Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel skills* Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping* Personable and confident nature* Ability to prioritise and work to calendar determined deadlines* AAT qualification would be nice but is not essentialHours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9.00am - 5.00pmSalary: Competitive SalaryThe role will also suit the following experience: Accounts Supervisor, Accounts Team Leader, Accounts & Office Manager, Accounts & Office Supervisor, Finance SupervisorBrampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
