Job Description

Year 7 Nurture Teacher - StockportASAP until July 2023Prospero Teaching is looking for a Nurture Teacher for a two and half term role, starting ASAP. You will be responsible for teaching a balanced Primary Curriculum to Year 7 students who need that little extra support and guidance. This timetable would besuitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a two term supply booking. There is a possibility of the post becoming permanent for September 2023.The school is a small but outstanding Specialist Provision and you will be teaching groups of up to 6 or 7 students and you will be ably supported by skilful learning assistants.The school offers GCSE subjects for its students and prides itself on offering a supportive, calm environment for learning.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
