As the Site Lead, General Manager or Operations Director, you will ensure the site delivers both gross margin and efficiency targets. With c£45m turnover and 120 employees, your key task is to lead the senior team in delivering excellence to our demandingcustomers. Being post-merger, this will be a challenging position in delivering a cultural change.Basic salary: £100,000 - £120,000Benefits:· Bonus up to 20% · Car Allowance · Pension · Healthcare · 25 Days Holiday & StatsRole based: ManchesterCommutable locations: Liverpool, Leeds, Blackburn, Bolton, ChesterOverview: Site Lead, General Manager, Operations Director - Manufacturer of Industrial ProductsReporting to the Vice President of European Operations industrial (global role), your key tasks are to lead, motivate, drive, and inspire the site to achieve financial and operational objectives. Youll be responsible for the cost centre of the site, alongwith GM% targets. You and your senior leadership team must collaborate with commercial teams (Europe wide) to deliver NPD, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.What is in it for you:· We have an engaged workforce who are eager to contribute to operational efficiency and are open to new methodologies. · We are business with a proven track record of investing in our people and our sites. · This role will be the succession planning for the Vice Presidents position.Role Profile: Operations Director, General Manager, Site Leader - Industrial products manufacturerA complete business profile and job description will be provided; however, the primary function is for you to be a Leader, someone who can inspire and drive performance through enabling your teams to have the autonomy and authority to deliver.You will also: · Lead the senior team of 5 reports to manage, develop and improve all areas of operations within the site. · Support commercial teams in hosting customers, demonstrating site capability and infrastructure. · Lead Quality and EHS teams to achieve and retain ISO and IATF standards, with a particular focus on continuous improvement. · Working towards and improving upon OTIF standards and expectations. · Manage all site operational costs, budgets, and forecasting.Person Requirements: Operations Director, General Manager, Site Leader - Industrial products manufacturerTo be successful in your application youll have a solid proven track record from a world class manufacturing environment, where continuous improvement, quality and leadership are foundations of your success.
