Job Description

We are looking for an experiencedLead Procurement Officerto join our team.This role is remote/hybrid working – you can work anywhere in the UK.   • Takingthe lead in all aspects of procurement, to efficiently and cost effectively support organisational operations
  • Developing, implementing, and continually improvingprocurement policies and procedures
  • Managingthe procurement process from sourcing to contract negotiation and execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and our contractual responsibilities to clients
  • Building strong collaborative relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and conditions
  • Monitoring supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Providingguidance and support to other departments on procurement-related matters
  • Developing and maintaining procurement metrics to track performance and identify areas of improvement
What we’re looking for in our Lead Procurement Officer:
  • Ideally MCIPS qualified and/or a degree in supply chain management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing a team of procurement specialists.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
