Job Description

Bid CoordinatorThis is a great opportunity for a bid coordinator who is looking for a step up in their career!We are looking for a bid Coordinator to join a growing team and lead the process of creating and submitting winning bids for our clients. You will be responsible for managing all the ins/outs within the bid department, developing the bid strategy, writing,and editing the bid documents, and ensuring that the bid is delivered on time and within budget.As a Bid Coordinator, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders from sales, marketing, product, finance, commercial, legal, and project management to obtain the information and resources required for the bid
  • Develop a clear and compelling win strategy and value proposition that differentiates us from our competitors
  • Write and edit the bid documents in a persuasive and professional manner
  • Review and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with the client’s requirements and our standards
  • Manage the bid budget and track the costs and resources involved in the bid
  • Follow up with the client after the bid submission and maintain a good relationship with them until the contract award
To be successful as a Bid Coordinator, you will need to have the following.
  • Proven experience in bid management, preferably in the industry or sector
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends, as well as our products and services
  • Experience in preparing and submitting bids or proposals for complex projects or contracts.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
  • Sound commercial understanding and profit and loss experience, coupled with risk management skills.
