Job Description

Our client are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Glasgow with extensive experience in structural design to join their growing organisation. The Senior Structural Engineer will be leading their northern design team. The Senior Structural Engineer willbe reporting to the Principal Structural Engineer.The ideal Senior Structural Engineer will have previous experience in leading a design team, making design approvals, coaching and mentoring. Delivering small to medium design projects and being new design ideas to the table to help shape the companys future.Senior Structural Engineer Position Remuneration

Senior Structural Engineer Position Overview

Operational and technical lead for the design team
Delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims
Site visits
Delivering small to medium design projects
Ensuring that the team reaches the monthly sales targets by driving business development
Reporting to the Principal Structural Engineer
Assisting with business development to drive growth

Senior Structural Engineer Position Requirements

Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
Good civil and structural design experience and preferably, an SER Certifier.
Several years post graduate design experience
Proficiency in IT systems
A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber
MICE or MIStructE is advantageous
