Preventative Maintenance EngineerVolvo Construction EquipmentStirling38.5 hours pw: Mon to Wed 8 am to 4.30 pm, Thurs 8 am to 4 pm, Fri 8 am to 3.30 pmOur Preventative Maintenance Engineers keep our customers’ Volvo construction equipment running smoothly and efficiently by carrying out essential planned maintenance and servicing.This is a field-based role where you’ll be working on large mobile plant such as wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, and utility and road equipment, carrying out anything from a 500-hour service on an excavator to a routine check-upon a small digger.RequirementsExperience in service maintenance of heavy construction / agricultural plant is preferred however we will also consider HGV or light commercial vehicle maintenance. Specific knowledge of Volvo construction machinery is not essential as full product trainingis provided.You’ll be a problem solver; capable of working independently with strong customer service and communication skills.Ideally, you’ll hold an NVQ L2 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering, or similar vehicle maintenance although experience is more important.Full UK driving licence is essential.Benefits
